Regional Business Development Manager (QLD)

RedEarth Energy builds dependable Australian-made battery systems used in homes, farms, regional sites, and off-grid projects. The team moves fast, backs its partners, and doesn’t play it safe when it comes to building better energy systems.
- This role suits someone who already knows the QLD solar landscape. You understand installers, retailers, and the reality of field-led sales. If you like being on the road, building commercial trust, and supporting reliable tech, this fits.
What you will do
Build and grow the partner base
- Recruit and support solar retailers, installers, EPCs, and off-grid specialists.
- Map the Queensland market and find gaps RedEarth can win.
- Track competitor pricing, supply, and product movements.
Lead partner relationships
- Be the first call for partners for quoting, product advice, margins, and install questions.
- Work with owners and lead installers to build long-term volume.
- Run toolbox talks, in-person training, and partner sessions.
Drive sales execution
- Own your region’s revenue plan and pipeline.
- Build practical sales plans based on partner needs.
- Present, negotiate, and close deals that build sustained volume.
Be the field-level product advocate
- Understand system design, hybrid inverter setups, off-grid principles, and battery behaviour.
- Deliver training and simple technical enablement.
- Feed back field insights to R&D and operations.
Support marketing and events
- Attend expos, roadshows, and partner events across Queensland.
- Work with marketing on targeted campaigns for installers.
Reporting and insights
- Keep clean forecasts and CRM hygiene.
- Share performance, risks, and opportunities with leadership.
What we’re looking for
You bring credibility in the solar and storage sector and know how to work with trade-based partners.
Must-haves
- 5+ years in solar, BESS, Battery storage sales.
- Strong knowledge of solar retailers, installers, and the QLD market.
- Proven results in B2B sales with technical or trade partners.
- Confident communicator who earns trust with owners and installers.
- Comfortable working solo across a large region.
- CRM discipline and solid admin habits.
- Willing to travel across SEQ and regional QLD.
