We design, engineer, and manufacture smart battery systems that help households and businesses take control of their power.

Now we’re looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the way on design integrity, safety, and compliance for our growing C&I (Commercial & Industrial) battery systems.

You’ll work hands-on with R&D, testing, and production to make sure every system we build is safe, practical, and beautifully engineered.

What you’ll take ownership of

• Guiding system design and build decisions through strong electrical knowledge and compliance insight
• Translating AS/NZS standards into clear, workable guidance for engineering and manufacturing teams
• Running live testing and validation on active systems
• Acting as RedEarth’s QTP, holding the company’s electrical licence (or working toward it)
• Partnering with R&D to develop, test, and refine new products and containerised systems
• Supporting major C&I projects from design to commissioning

What you bring

• Licensed electrician or degree-qualified electrical engineer with 10+ years’ experience
• Deep understanding of Australian electrical and safety standards (AS/NZS 3000, 5139, 4777)
• Experience in renewable, battery, or high-voltage systems
• Practical, hands-on approach to testing, compliance, and design
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
