Startup Recruiter (Remote, Part-Time)

Support a founder across recruitment, sourcing, and more
Kairos Recruitment is an Australian Recruitment company helping startups across Australia scale with great people. I’m looking for a Recruitment VA based in the Philippines to support candidate sourcing, screening, and day-to-day recruitment tasks - with room to grow into a broader virtual support role across multiple founder-led ventures.
You’ll start by helping me screen candidates, chase references, and headhunt candidates - with the view to loop you into other projects too (client outreach, research, light ops). I’m looking for someone who can become a long-term extension of me.
What you'll be doing:
Screen candidates: Review CVs, shortlist, and coordinate early-stage screening
Reference checks: Follow up with referees and summarise insights clearly
Source candidates: Use LinkedIn and other tools to find and reach out to ideal candidates
General admin & outreach: Scheduling, CRM updates, and helping with light client research or outreach when needed
What I'm looking for:
Experience in recruitment or talent acquisition (agency or in-house)
Solid sourcing skills – Boolean search, LinkedIn filters, and strong research instincts
Highly organised, reliable, and responsive – you’ll be working directly with me
Strong written English and attention to detail
Bonus: You love tools like ChatGPT, Zapier, Notion, Airtable or other automations that make life easier
The details:
~10 hours/week to start (with potential to scale up)
Fully remote, but must have overlap with AEST timezone
Flexibility to support across multiple businesses as trust grows
